Nursery Rotation

All regularly attending Kid's Quest parents/guardians are required to serve in one of our Nursery/Toddler classrooms during one service on a rotation. If you are serving in Kid's Quest as a regular volunteer (weekly, bi-weekly or monthly) you are exempt from serving on the rotation.
 
Why is your rotation service so important to our ministry?

1.   Your commitment reflects the character of Christ.  Jesus knew the value of little children, never turning them away but rather telling them to come to Him.

2.  Parents can attend the worship service, a community group, or a McLean University class and be assured that their children are cared for and safe. 

3. Your faithful attendance helps us to keep the number of rotation volunteers consistent and ensures that there is adequate care for every child that enters through our doors.

 

New to the Nursery Rotation? Here is what you need to know:

Your Nursery Rotation date is scheduled on a thirteen week cycle.  We remind you of your service period through e-mail, a postcard and a phone call the week prior to service.  However, if you remember your specific assignment week, the Prince William bulletin shows the next week each Sunday.  If you have not been receiving the reminders above, please contact the appropriate coordinator to make sure we have your correct information on file.

On the day of your service report to Volunteer Central.  Please do your best to arrive 30 minutes before service begins and be prepared to stay 20 minutes after service ends to allow parents to pick their children up.  We now require all participants in the Nursery Rotation to consent to a background check  Click here to submit your Nursery Rotation background check consent online.

What should you do if you are unable to make your scheduled date?

Contact us as soon as possible! The more time we have the greater chance we have to fill your spot.  Also if you have any questions, need to reschedule or have forgotten your rotation week assignment, contact the appropriate coordinator:
